Breaking Patterns of Conflict

This book breaks new ground by using an oral archive of interviews and witness seminars involving senior British and Irish politicians and civil servants to explore fundamental change in the British-Irish relationship, especially as regards Northern Ireland. It examines new political alignments that have had the capacity to break the pattern of conflict in Northern Ireland, and that have implications for the resolution of comparable conflicts elsewhere._x005F_x000D_ This book was published as a special issue of Irish Political Studies.
