Police Reserves and Volunteers

This edited volume outlines the benefits and challenges related to the use of volunteers within global law enforcement agencies. The notable reduction in police department funding has raised the importance of the use of volunteers to enhance organizational performance, improve community trust and confidence, and at times accomplish basic tasks to maintain public safety and security.
