Some consumers of fantasy and science fiction believe that the superhuman powers of the story-worlds, also exist in the real world. This book identifies the textual features that make certain works of fiction, including The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, usable as religious texts. It was first published as a special issue of the journal Religion.
