Urban Planning and Transport Research

Urban, Planning & Transport Research is a fully Open Access journal offering rapid publication and wide dissemination of new research to a global audience. It publishes peer-reviewed contributions in all areas of urban, planning and transport research.

Submissions are welcome in areas including, but not limited to, urban studies, urban design, urban regeneration, urban development, local and regional economic and community development, planning (including town and country, city and regional, spatial, land use and other variants), planning theory, planning history, housing, transport, human geography and water research. Multi- or cross-disciplinary papers are also welcome including those which link aspects of urban, planning and transport research to related fields.

The journal invites theoretical and empirical contributions, letters and full-length papers, discussions of new research data and case studies.

Peer Review Statement

All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by two independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind.

Article Publishing Charge

 

To cover the cost of Open Access publishing, Urban, Planning and Transport Research charges an article publishing charge (APC) for all accepted articles. There is no submission charge. The APC for Urban, Planning and Transport Research is US$600 / £460 / €530.
