Geographies of New Femininities

This co-authored text brings together a set of contemporary themes integral to feminist geography, showing how issues of globalisation, ethnicity and identity are influencing research on femininities. Using four in-depth global case studies the authors seek to explain the complex and varied relationship between social change and geographies of femininity, illustrating how current research is exploring the negotiation of new gender identities in the contemporary world.
