Advanced Vehicle Control

The 13th International Symposium on Advanced Vehicle Control (AVEC'16) was held from September 13-16 2016 in Munich, Germany. AVEC'16 put a special focus on automatic driving and autonomous driving functions, integrated control of interacting control systems, controlled suspension systems, active wheel torque distribution and vehicle state and parameter estimation. Because automatic driving is not ready to go into mass production in the near future, the driver's assistance is seen as a bridge technology in this direction and was focused on at AVEC'16 as well.
