Biopolitics and Memory in Postcolonial Literature and Culture

How do processes of public memory such as the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa precipitate justice and recompense? When do such techniques, performances, and displays of memory obscure and elide aspects of the history of colonial governmentality?
