Southeast Asia and the Vietnam War

Although a great deal has been written about the Vietnam War, this is the first book which considers how the other countries of southeast Asia were affected by it and how they reacted to it. Based on extensive original research, it considers and explains the differing responses – Thailand and the Philippines both contributed militarily to the US war effort, whilst Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore were non-aligned.
