Intervention in Contemporary World Politics

Examines multilateral interventions in civil conflicts and the evolution of the role of such interventions in world politics. Focussing on the Cold War and post-Cold War eras and the differences between them, this work contests the notion that there is an emerging norm of humanitarian intervention in international politics.
