African Households: Censuses and Surveys

African households are among the most complex in the world. This work investigates relationships among individuals in the household and relates them to household characteristics such as structure and headship. The analyses use micro-data from countries Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d?Ivoire, the Gambia, Senegal, Kenya and South Africa.
