Democratization of Intelligence

Better democratic control of security services is essential to long-term collective security in a world of Weapons of Mass Destruction and terrorism, both state-sponsored and otherwise. This book compares the challenges of democratic governance for intelligence agencies in a range of countries either seeking to move beyond authoritarianism or to deal with serious political violence.
