Human Rights, Race, and Resistance in Africa and the African Diaspora

From colonial abuses or their legacies, black people around the world have historically encountered discrimination. This book addresses issues of race and the abuse of human rights surrounding Africans and their descendants, particularly in relation to social justice, discrimination, and equality movements. The chapters explore and clarify how people of colour struggled to achieve agency despite long histories of discrimination.
