Islamic Environmentalism

This book examines Muslims engaged in environmental activism in the United States and Great Britain. Grounded in the insights of social movement theory and based on research interviews, the book examines Muslim activists who interpret Islam through an environmental lens and view their environmental activism as a religious duty.
