Dwelling: Heidegger, Archaeology, Mortality negotiates discourses in phenomenology, archaeology and palaeoanthropology relating to the ‘dwelling perspective’, an approach that developed out of an engagement with the thought of Martin Heidegger._x005F_x000D_ This unique book expands on accounts of death awareness in early humans, reading Heidegger in connection to developments in the archaeology of mortuary practice.
