This excellent reference source brings together hard-to-find information on the eighty-three constituent units of the Russian Federation._x005F_x000D_ The introduction examines the Russian Federation as a whole, and consists of an essay on Russian federalism and gubernatorial elections since 1991, followed by a chronology, demographic and economic statistics, and a review of the Federal Government.
